Sushi Bistro KAI-OH in Bad Homburg

Ordered here the other day for the first time and I have to say that from now on this is my absolute favorite of all restaurants. Of course, that's also because I'm a big sushi friend, but the taste is simply excellent compared to other sushi restaurants and keeps up with the sushi I ate in Japan. The service staff are very friendly and courteous and were able to help me very well with the choice on the fairly extensive menu. Great recommendation !!

Why is there no mask requirement here? . Food collectors keep coming without a mask and nobody dares to warn them. As a regular customer, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. At that time I had given 5 stars but now only 1 star. It is Kai Oh's duty to protect his customers.

It's a sushi restaurant that I've been wondering for a long time and I finally went there the other day. It seems that it has been operating for 14 years already. I used it for takeout. I asked for platte 11, but he kindly agreed to deal with allergies. Both the store manager and the store clerk are friendly, and I would like to ask you when the store operation is restarted. The price is also reasonable. All the sushi was delicious, especially the California rolls. I think it's good that you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients without the extra sauce that is often found in weird sushi. The grips and rolls have become big and full. Personally, the taste is important, but the atmosphere of the shop and the staff is also important. Both shops were satisfied. Thank you very much.

I didn't think you could eat such delicious sushi in Germany! Overseas sushi restaurants did not have a very good image, but this is a Japanese-run restaurant with good service. It was used and loved by locals. If you come to sightseeing and miss Japanese food, why not use this? Rather, you can have a delicious sushi than in Japan!

Our native Japanese. Slightly pricier than most simple sushi stores, but worlds better and worth every penny. Always very good quality and beautifully presented, no matter what you combine.

Kai-OH serves authentic Japanese food. They have a wide selection of sushi and nigiri to choose from and all those I've tried tasted fresh. They offer a variety of warm dishes as well, most of which you cannot find in standard sushi places. The price point is slightly higher, but you get good quality for it. The service is very warm and friendly. However, they could use a couple more people, as getting service can take a while when the restaurant is full. Aside from their sushi, ramen, and donburi, I highly recommend the Kurogoma Cotta and their Yuzu tea.

Meat-rice-ratio is the best out of all the sushi bars/restaurants I’ve ever tried within Hessen. 5 stars to taste/service without question.
